ROAM is a publicly shared network of high-security smart bike locks that fit onto existing bike racks.

ROAM approached Industrial Craft very early, with only a rough idea of distributed sharelocks somehow pigging backing on existing rack infrastructure.

Our team worked closely with ROAM over the course of a year to explore various directions though design, user testing, consulting diverse stakeholders in city governments, community organizations and bike advocacy groups.
1. Ride your bike.
2. Download the app.
3. Use sharelocks.
Industrial Craft's work spanned across design, strategy, brand and 360 experience.

Our work led up to a VC pitch. The deliverables from Industrial Craft included a physical lock prototype, a user journey map with corresponding keyscreens in the app, light branding, and the storyflow, pitch deck and presentation materials.
